Screw demographics, they merely help others judge you and pidgeonhole your positions. Only answer to the demographics question when it benefits you, and always make sure it is different from the last time.

Consistently chaotic is a good way to live.

Mmm. I would say that it is entertainment. All entertainment must seek out what Carl Sagan referred to as the "old appeals" because of the nature of demographics and marketing. These people are kept segregated by their terminal beliefs. These ideals keep them perpetually animalistic.

You cannot attempt to consume their culture and grasp any sort of insight, or find any modicum of balance or moderation. Let the insight be that this culture sometimes reflects reality, but often seeks to manufacture truth. Balance your perception and ignore the mass media consumer culture that is delivered nightly to the rat feeders.

Have you ever read 1984?

"The old appeals to racial, sexual and religious chauvinism; to rabid nationalist fervor are beginning not to work. A new consciousness is developing which sees the earth as a single organism and recognizes that an organism at war with itself is doomed." Carl Sagan, Cosmos
